0:00 This video shows how to track your time in Teetrack through Claude. We'll connect your account, record work for a client, and check the hours and budget. Start in Teetrack and open MCP in the sidebar.

0:14 This page has the server address we'll need in Claude. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Choose Add, then Add custom connector. Name the connector Teetrack. Copy the server address from Teetrack and paste it into the server URL field in Claude.

0:42 Choose Continue. Claude detects the sign-in settings. Keep Sign in now and Register automatically selected, then choose Add and Connect. Teetrack lists the permissions Claude is requesting.

1:01 Review them, then choose Authorize. Back in Claude, open a new chat and ask it to list your Teetrack projects. Approve the lookup and check that Acme Redesign appears. I'm using Acme Redesign for this example.

1:40 The project is set up at ninety euros an hour, with a twenty-hour budget. I'm about to review the homepage, so I'll ask Claude to start a timer. Give it the project name and a description of the work.

1:56 Claude asks for permission to start the timer. Choose Allow once to approve this request. When Claude confirms it, refresh Teetrack. The homepage review now has a running timer and uses the project's default billable setting.

2:18 When the review is finished, ask Claude to stop that timer. Approve the request. In Teetrack, the entry now has an end time and a saved duration. That work is ready to include in the client report.

2:46 I also had a briefing call with the client yesterday, but forgot to run a timer. I can add that time now. Tell Claude the project, what the work was, and when it started and ended. Include the timezone, and say whether the time is billable.

3:01 This briefing lasted half an hour, starting at ten in the morning, Berlin time. Approve the entry, then check it in Teetrack. Client briefing is on the right project, it lasts thirty minutes, and it's billable.

3:24 At ninety euros an hour, that adds forty- five euros to the project total. Before sending the client an update, I'll check the total. Ask Claude for this month's billable hours, the amount in euros, and the hours left in the project budget.

3:41 Name the project, and ask it to use Teetrack's summary and budget tools. Approve the summary and budget lookups. To check the answer, open Summary in Teetrack. Select Acme Redesign and This Month.

4:17 The table includes the homepage review, the briefing call, and the time that was already logged on this project. Compare the billable amount with Claude's answer. Budget watch shows how much of the twenty- hour allowance we've used.

4:31 The remaining hours help us decide how much work we can still take on for this client. You can use the same prompts for your own projects. Include a project name and a clear description; for past work, add the date and time as well.

4:47 Connecting Claude is available on Teetrack's free plan. Billing and budgets require Business or above.
