Every freelancer knows their tracked-hours number. Almost nobody knows what those hours were actually worth. That's the question this report answers. One click in the sidebar — Profitability — and Teetrack turns your tracked time into revenue, hours, and your real hourly rate. Per project, per client, per tag.
The column I care about most is this one — billable percent. My two client projects sit at one hundred percent: every tracked hour gets paid. But internal tooling — zero. That's the time nobody pays for. And the total up top says just under ninety percent of everything I tracked this month is billable. That number is your utilization — and most tools only give it to teams.
The same numbers roll up by client, and by tag. And if you bill in more than one currency, nothing gets mashed together — my euro client gets its own section, with its own totals and its own rate.
Now, margin. Teetrack asks you for exactly one thing: a target hourly rate — what an hour of your work should earn. Let's say one hundred dollars. And back on the report there's a margin column now. Green where a project beats your target… and the internal work goes red. That's what unpaid hours actually cost you.
When you need this outside Teetrack — two buttons. C S V for your spreadsheet or your accountant, utilization included. And a P D F you can read, file, or send along with your invoice.
Quick word on plans, because the report adapts to your tier. On Free you can find the page, and it shows you an example of what your numbers would look like. On Business the report is real — your top three projects, clients and tags — with exports reserved for Pro. And on Pro, the whole thing, exports included.
None of this needed a desktop agent watching your screen. It's just clean time entries — reviewed by you — turned into numbers you can act on: your real rate, your billable share, your margin. That's the whole idea behind Teetrack. Try it at teetrack dot it — free to start, and the report comes with Business.
