How to connect
Step 1: Copy the Teetrack server address
Open MCP in the Teetrack sidebar and copy the hosted server URL.
Step 2: Add a custom connector in Claude
Open Customize → Connectors → Yours → Add → Add custom connector. Name it Teetrack, paste the server URL and choose Continue.
Step 3: Connect and authorize
Keep Sign in now and Register automatically selected. Choose Add, then Connect. Review the permissions in Teetrack and choose Authorize.
Step 4: Find your project and start tracking
In a new chat, ask Claude to list your Teetrack projects and approve the lookup. Then ask it to start a timer for your project. The video follows ACME Redesign through a timer, a missed briefing and its billable report.
What you can do
- Start and stop timers conversationally: Tell Claude to start a timer on a specific project and stop it when done. No need to switch to the Teetrack UI for quick tracking.
- Log time entries with natural language: Say "Log 3 hours on the dashboard redesign project for Monday" and Claude creates the entry in Teetrack with the correct project, duration, and date.
- Pull reports and summaries: Ask Claude for weekly summaries, project breakdowns, or billable hour totals. Claude fetches data from Teetrack and presents it in a clear format.
- Manage projects, clients, and tags: Create projects, update client information, add tags, or update time entries — all through conversational commands without leaving Claude.
