Think about how you start your morning. You open your time tracker, select a project from a dropdown, type the same description you typed yesterday, maybe add a tag or two, and hit start. Click the play button on any slot and a new timer starts instantly with everything pre-filled — the right project, the right description, the right tags. No dropdowns, no typing, no searching.
If you have not pinned anything yet, the strip does not sit empty. Teetrack automatically fills it with your most recent unique track combinations. So from day one, the entries you use most frequently are already waiting for you. As you pin specific tracks, your manual selections replace the auto-populated ones.
How to pin a track
There are three ways to pin a track, and all of them take a single click. First, after you complete a time entry, click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the entry and select "Pin track." The entry's project, description, and tags are saved to your pinned strip. Second, if the auto-populated strip already shows a combination you want to keep, click the star icon (⭐) on that entry to lock it in place. Third, you may not need to pin anything manually at all — the strip auto-populates from your recent history, so your most-used combinations surface automatically.
Removing a pin is just as simple. Click the three-dot menu on any pinned entry and select "Unpin." The slot either clears or refills with the next most-recent track combination from your history.
